Ebook About The Alien Adoption Agency is going to make all of Luna’s dreams come true.At least, that’s what Luna believes when she boards a rickety space craft headed for a frontier moon to meet the child she will raise in exchange for 100 acres of land and a modest stipend. But she doesn’t count on the dangerous animals, the short but lonely nights, or the big blue warrior who informs her he is on permanent security duty for the baby. Noxx is a proud dragon warrior of the Invicta, dedicated to use his strength, strategy and endurance to protect his homeland. When his commander assigns him guard duty for a baby, he resents the interruption of his career. It’s bad enough that he’s starting to bond with the little whelp, but the instant he sees the child’s adoptive mother, he knows she is his fated mate. Noxx will have to deny his desperate craving for the dark-haired beauty if he wants to hold on to his chance at redemption. When a last-minute trek through the forest of Clotho gets them entangled in a dangerous battle, Luna will have to learn to trust the hunky blue warrior. But can the dragon let go of his duty long enough to let himself love someone, and be loved in return? If you like strong women, sexy aliens, wild adventures, steamy sensual scenes, and happily-ever-afters, then you’ll love the world of Stargazer!Alien Adoption Agency is a Stargazer Alien Series – read them all:-Noxx-Kade-TyroAnd check out the other Stargazer Alien series:Stargazer Alien Mail Order BridesStargazer Alien Barbarian BridesStargazer Alien Space Cruise BridesStargazer Alien Reality Show BridesStargazer Alien Mystery BridesBook Noxx: Alien Adoption Agency #1 Review :
The story idea is excellent, so I really, really hate to have to write a negative review, but the execution is...young. REALLY young. When reading a romance intended for adults I don't want to feel like the book was geared towards children. There's no depth! I could be reading a bedtime story if I just omit one scene, one kiss, and two words! The writing style truly does feel juvenile, almost like it should be a picture book with as little detail as there is.I feel like if you took out/slightly adjusted the watered down intimacy (of which there was barely any) and the two dirty words, this would absolutely apeal to preteens or even younger! If I were much, much, MUCH younger I'd probably adore this story...but there's a difference between "sweet" and "nearly a children's book." And those two included words would mean it's no longer "sweet" and can't be for kids, either. I feel like they don't belong in this style of writing. I don't need adult content to be raunchy or violent, but I do prefer depth, general detail, and not feeling like I'm reading at a 5th grade level. The writing structure itself is just really young.I think removing the two dirty words would probably be a lot better for the author. Usually people who are going to object to steamy romance/grit/real battle etc would also object to the two words in question. By using those words I feel that the author may be alienating the type of reader who would actually like the way this is written. I know there are some adults out there who like things like this, but I'm not one of them.Sorry to be so critical, but if it's marketed for adults, I want to feel like an adult when reading it. This book was a cute and quick read. I wish there was more background to the warriors planet, maybe how the babies were selected for them, and how the mothers were selected and assigned to a child.Three star because it was a nice read but could have been so much more by adding details.
